Communication EFFECT, on behalf of its client Athenian Brewery, prepared the concept and undertook the implementation of a Christmas Facebook contest. This included the design of a Facebook application and all the creative materials needed for the campaign, the communication strategy and promotion of the contest, along with the community management.
More specifically, under the hashtag #azresolutions, users who entered the app were asked to pick one of the pre-selected New Year’s resolutions available and then share it on their profile. In this way, users automatically entered the competition to win the beer of their choice, since every resolution matched to an Athenian Brewery’s beer specific profile.
The main objectives of the campaign were to increase corporate awareness, connect Athenian Brewery with its labels, as well as to engage with users during Christmas.
