Ode to Lesvos is a short film produced with the support of Johnnie Walker Storyline, an initiative which aims to discover and narrate the most amazing stories of human progress. Such a story is the one of Lesvos’ residents, who helped thousands of refugees coming to find shelter on their island.
Communication EFFECT designed and implemented the publicity plan for this initiative, which included press releases, promotion in online and print media, TV and radio mentions. In addition, our team was responsible for the digital communication of the film, through the development of a Facebook application. More specifically, users could enter the app and send their own message to the people of Lesvos. The aim was to highlight human actions which serve as an inspiration for all of us.
