Communication EFFECT designed and developed an online competition, exclusively for the first-year academic students. The competition named “First time student? Go to bed!” offered MEDIA STROM bedrooms to 10 winners. Action΄s objective was youngsters΄ engagent while at the same time offered support to a social group in need. Campaign was mainly trafficked via social media (Facebook page and Facebook ads). Competition lasted 2 weeks, gained 700 student attendances from all over Greece, considerably increased traffic in MEDIA STROM΄s online channels and was published by tens of articles in traditional and online media.
Our team created the conditions and channels for MEDIA STROM to acquire the social brand character. With Facebook as its main hub, MEDIA STROM is now more open and and more close to the young public and continues to develop its social media.
